Starting in 2025, Producer/Director/Writer Rachel Daisy Ellis and Producer Camille Reis will offer consulting and mentoring services for projects at any stage of development or production. This is a boutique service tailored to the specific needs of each project, with the format and duration designed in response to what the creative team (writer, director and/or producers) requires.

There is no predefined structure or timescale.

If you are interested, please send us an email introducing your project and describing the kind of support you are looking for. Mentorship and consulting can be conducted by Camille, Rachel, or both, depending on what best suits your process.

Desvia is based in a beautiful historic house in the center of Recife. Over the years, it has hosted numerous film productions as well as many artists, curators, and programmers who have spent creative periods in the city. In 2025, we officially transformed the house into a dedicated space for residencies, welcoming artists from all disciplines who wish to develop their projects during a stay in Recife.

The residency operates on a rolling basis: proposals can be submitted at any time throughout the year, depending on availability in the residency calendar.
